Is Career Building The Only Goal Of Education?

Education, one of the most important things to have in life, gives us the main motive to do anything we want to do. Even the simplest jobs require some education. There is something common between all of us. We all dream to have a bright future and career. Most of the people just want to get a job and earn some money. But only a few realise that career building is not the only goal of education.

Education refers to the quality of having knowledge and intelligence. Education makes a capable human to do an occupation. That's not the ONLY goal. There are so many things education provides us to live our life prosperously. The main aim of education is, it prepares us to deal with physical, social and mental challenges and tells us how to face the world. It helps us to detect what is right and what is wrong. The actual meaning of education is, it is the facilitating learning or acquisition of knowledge and skills. But the thing is, many people fail to realize it.

For example, people nowadays are opting for medical and engineering, even though most of them are unwilling to do so. As a result of this peer pressure, over 50% of doctors and engineers don't have the basic knowledge of the job and remain unemployed. Rarely any people would go on and become archaeologists, statisticians, logisticians, veterinarians etc. We should remember that there unlimited options available!

The actual goal of true education is intelligence plus good character to make a nation more developed and beautiful. So, to conclude, we understand that career building is not the only goal of education. Choose the career you love, and can do it by heart.
