This is Enlightened Wisdom: Smart SCIENCE, with another blogpost, after probably two big years.
Writing, in simple terms doesn't require you a lot of experience, knowledge or research. It can be a simple letter, a note or even a text to your friend which can be freshly prepared by your thoughts, emotions and whatever knowledge you already have. You don't have to be an experienced writer or author to post something. The internet is open for all and it allows every single one of you to share your own thoughts and opinions on any topic. We ourselves have been running this blog for almost 5 years at this point. With every blog we post, we get to learn something new, and the readers also get to know something from our bucket of knowledge.
Writing as you know, is a way of communication which is possible if you have a good knowledge on the grammar as well as vocabulary of the language you are writing in. Once again, your words need not necessarily make sense, but the message you try to convey should be clear. Through our blogs, we just try to do that in a simple yet creative way with our ideas to make the content engaging. Anybody can do the same. To stand out, you have to do something different. Authors don't just write any story and sell it to become famous, they have to put in all what they've got and always try to put something different, something unique and engaging which stands out from other authors and their respective books.
To write a blog however, you don't really have to be an author or a famous person, you just need some interest and dedication for writing which I'm sure is possible if you are really interested in the topic about which you are writing. Obviously you cant just write about "everything" in this world, you can share your thoughts on something you know very well, or something that interests you a lot. It can be science, fiction, fantasy, movies, trends, anything to name a few. You can take ideas from anywhere and then combine them with your own thoughts which may interest other people who follow you. But remember, sharing thoughts on the internet comes with a lot of risks. You have to keep in mind, every word you say or write, must be done after thinking several times.
Now lets come to the part of how actually a blog is written. We as a team work together to gather ideas and news about interesting and trending scientific topics and discuss them which one can we actually share a good information about. This part takes a good time as to choosing a topic is as tough as deciding what to wear in a party. Initially this blog was meant only for science based articles, but gradually we sought interest in other fields such as history, geography, mystery and supernatural, technology, psychology etc. We added the bits of science in such topics to show how everything is connected in this world. Kinda like the butterfly effect, you know. We even created new series of blogs which got special attention such as our WHAT IF...? Series, Special Inventions series, Death From Space series and the most effort we gave into, the Science Specials Week Series which was actually the first ever series we introduced here.
Once the topic is chosen, the writing part starts. We usually start off right away with the introduction of the topic so that the reader can extract more information through our blogs. But its always better to start off with punchlines and catchy phrases which can attract the reader to read further more. A thing we recently did in a few of our blogs. You can choose a catchy thumbnail or any picture relevant to the topic. Once said things are done, you are ready to unleash your imaginations and creative geniuses of writing what you want. You can go off topic, however it must not become a central part of the story you're narrating. We as a science based community try to stick to science facts, which of course takes a lot of research and discussion. Writing with dedication condensed with confidence can actually make your content more engaging and fruitful.
And if you write, write it with your whole heart. Expressing emotions through words is not that easy especially when you are not only sharing your thoughts to your friend, but to the whole world. Through this blog we wanted to share you what it takes to prepare a new blog, and with every blog try to bring in something new and interesting for the readers. Remember, through writing blogs, you not only just share your knowledge to the readers, but also learn the skill of writing. And at last, of course, if there's one thing which doesn't get less when you share, is nothing but knowledge.
The real art of writing lies within your ability to understand and imagine the world in your way. No author got popular just by writing simple things.
If you keep doing what you've always been doing, you'll keep getting what you've always been getting.
