Soil

Soil is the loose surface material that covers most land. It consists of inorganic particles and organic matter. Soil provides the structural support to plants used in agriculture and is also their source of water and nutrients. Soils vary greatly in their chemical and physical properties.

Compost

Compost is a mixture of ingredients used to fertilize and improve the soil. It is commonly prepared by decomposing plant and food waste and recycling organic materials. The resulting mixture is rich in plant nutrients. Compost generally has a pH between 6 and 8. If anaerobic conditions develop during composting, organic acids may accumulate rather than break down. It Prevents Soil Erosion and Reduces Waste.

Vermicompost

Vermicompost is the product of the decomposition process using various species of worms, usually red wigglers, white worms, and other earthworms, to create a mixture of decomposing vegetable or food waste, bedding materials, and vermicast.

Both Compost as well as Vermicompost enriches soil by providing the nutrients to the soil so that the plants can grow taller and healthier.

Layers of Compost
The first layer of the Compost consists of soil (In this layer you may and earthworms to make a vermicompost) then the second layer consists of kitchen
wastes and the last layer is dry leaves (This is the order).
