Engines - Energy Savers | Inventions S01 E07

It is hard to believe that in the early age the work could be only done by animal or human power! But the invention of steam engine changed the world! This started the Steam Age. Then you all know electricity came to power then gasoline powered engines came in place. So now lets steam up and see all the powered engines throughout the history!

Do you think engines were only used for making the vehicles move? The first ever made steam engines were used for pumping out water from mines! But in 1763 it all started to change... a Scottish engineer James Watt started to improve the steam engine. By 1769 he had invented a more effective steam engine and is invention was a success that it was used to run machines! So after that the steam engines were made!
Then the Gramme's dynamo which was invented in 1869 by Zénobe Théophile Gramme which converted mechanical energy into electricity!

Then Solar Power which had Photoelectric cells which converted sunlight into electricity. These two are examples which obtained electricity by other sources, and this electricity is used to run engines!
Then who can forget the gasoline engines! Now we use gasoline engines in cars and even in other vehicles but do you the first gas powered engines were called Internal Combustion Engines and the first one was built in the year 1859 by Belgian Etienne Lenoir.

Then only Gottlieb Daimler and Karl Benz made the Gasoline Engines which were used to power automobiles.
